Enjoy a leisurely float on the river, while keeping company with wildlife that call the Genesee River home. a $20 registration fee supports GRW in its efforts to protect and maintain your local river, and automatically enters you in the drawing to win a kayak!
FLOAT DETAILS
Drop your boat and register at the Transit Bridge access site in Belfast at 9 a.m. Saturday, September 23. Drive your vehicle to the Caneadea River Access Park on State Route 19. If needed, a shuttle will be provided back to Belfast for launch on the river at 10 a.m. The float should take around four hours. Expect conditions for beginner/intermediate boat handling skills.
A registration form and waiver are required for each person. Official GRW T-Shirts will be available at additional cost. Please RSVP via Facebook, email ([email protected]), or phone (585-268-7153) by Friday, September 22 with the number of boats and people you will be bringing. The float will go off rain or shine barring extreme inclement weather or unsuitable water levels. Be sure to check the links for weather delays, schedule changes or other announcements.
